PESHAWAR: Gunship helicopters kept pounding overnight the hideouts of the militants destroying several of them, while six militants were killed and eight wounded.
Sources said that security forces raided militants’ hideouts at different places of upper and lower Orakzai in Orakzai Agency, while gunship helicopters and jet fighters providing cover to the advancing forces knocked down several hideouts located at Ghalju, Dabori, Ferozekhel, Dagri, Muhammadzai and adjoining areas.
At least six militants were killed and eight wounded in these actions against the militants, while the people’s panic evacuations from these areas started.
