World Labour Day Being Observed Today

Labour Day is being marked all over the world including Pakistan today. President and Prime Minister have assured the labourer class that government will put in all efforts for acquiring a reasonable position for them in the society reported by A Pakistan News.
A major ceremony regarding the Labour Day will be held in Convention Center Islamabad, which will be addressed by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. The Labourer organizations and unions will hold rallies and public meetings in different parts of the city to re-affirm the resolve to continue struggle for achievement of their rights on the occasion of International Labour Day here today.
President Asif Ali Zardari and all party activists give due respect to the labourer community and the entire PPP leadership believe in active participation of labourer in the national economic development process, besides providing them better working environment.
PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif said in a message that it is a duty of all of us to provide a respectable position for the labourers in our society and their social rights should also be safeguarded.
